A police officer for the Blackfeet Nation of Montana resigned after being investigated for sexual contact with a minor.
Aaron Pepion left the force three weeks ago, Henry Devereaux, the director of the tribal Department of Public Safety, told The Great Falls Tribune. He was investigated by the tribe and the FBI before being indicted on charges of having sex with a girl younger than 16
Pepion is being held without bond. A detention hearing takes place today.
