Squamish Nation plans to erect electronic signs
The Squamish Nation of British Columbia plans to erect seven electronic billboards on its land in the Vancouver area.

The band is negotiating a multimillion-dollar multi-year deal with an advertising broker, senior operating officer Toby Baker told CBC News. The signs should be up by Christmas.

The band initially proposed 18 billboards but scaled back after local complaints. The Department of Indian and Northern Affairs approved the plan.
