Fossils being returned to Standing Rock Sioux
Concordia College in Minnesota has agreed to turn over dinosaur fossils taken from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

A retired professor took fossils from the reservation, which straddles the North Dakota-South Dakota border, without permission. The school has started to turn over the items, having already studied them.

The tribe created its own paleontology program and paleontology code and eventually plans to open a museum to showcase fossils from the reservation, which is home to a large number of items.
