Alleged incident of cannibalism on reservation in Brazil
Local authorities in Brazil are investigating an alleged incident of cannibalism on a reservation in the Amazon.

A 21-year-old man was killed earlier this month on the reservation, which is home to the Kulina Tribe. A tribal member reportedly told military police that the man was cut apart and eaten.

But an official with the government's National Indian Foundation said cannibalism is unheard of among tribes in Brazil. She said local authorities have not come forward with any proof of cannibalism.
