Navajo Nation to vote on reducing size of council
Members of the Navajo Nation will vote on a proposal to reduce the size of the Navajo Nation Council.

The council currently has 88 delegates. The proposal calls to reduce the council to just 24 seats.

President Joe Shirley Jr. wants voters to decide the issue. He is also pushing for the authority to issue line-item vetoes.
