Grand Traverse chairman to meet with Obama
Derek Bailey, the chairman of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians will meet with President Barack Obama in Michigan today.

In a post to Twitter, Bailey said he will "definitely be representing Grand Traverse Band and northern Michigan" while Obama is in the state to talk about his plans to put $12 billion into the nation's community college system.

Bailey was elected last November. He is the youngest person to lead his tribe.
