Gerald Nicodemus, Spokane leader, dies at 53
Gerald Nicodemus, a former council member for the Spokane Tribe of Washington, died last week. He was 53.

Nicodemus served as secretary when the tribe resolved Class III gaming issues with the state in 2007. He also worked on environmental mediation issues

Burial services take place tomorrow on the Spokane Reservation.
