Saginaw Chippewa man indicted on 11 charges
Casey Amos Floyd, a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan, was indicted on 11 counts in connection with a car accident that occurred off the reservation.

Floyd, 23, is charged with assault with intent to murder; causing serious injury while operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated; failure to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in serious impairment or death; assault with a dangerous weapon; assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer; operating while intoxicated, second offense; felonious driving; and four counts of malicious destruction of property.

Authorities said Floyd intentionally rammed his car into another vehicle in attempt to kill his ex-girlfriend, who was a passenger in the second vehicle. Four people, including the ex-girlfriend, were injured and had to be hospitalized as a result of the accident.

Floyd is being held on $1 million bond.
