South Dakota governor to set Year of Unity with tribes
South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds (R) will proclaim 2010 as a "Year of Unity" with tribes.

The proclamation commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Year of Reconciliation. The late Gov. George Mickelson (R) proclaimed the year in 1980 in hopes of improving tribal-state relations.

The proclamation will take place February 19 at the Capitol in Pierre.
