The Ahousaht First Nation of British Columbia plans to evict 12 people who have refused to seek treatment for drug and alcohol problems.

In March, the tribe asked 30 people to get help or face eviction. Eighteen agreed to undergo treatment.

"We're just trying to get our community healthy," Chief council member John Frank told CBC News. "That's all we're working towards. I don't understand who wouldn't want to be healthy."

The 12 people have until "dusk" to seek treatment or be evicted, Frank said.
