Miccosukee Tribe close to deal to provide financial records to IRS
Miccosukee Tribe of Florida is close to a deal to provide financial records to the Internal Revenue Service, the Associated Press reports.

The tribe claimed sovereign immunity when the IRS sought the records. But a judge said the tribe's status can't shield credit card records of spending by former chairman Billy Cypress.

Attorneys for the tribe and the IRS say they are finalizing on agreement on the records.
