IHS director to appear at health care meeting in Arizona
Indian Health Service Director Yvette Roubideaux, a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, will speak at a national health care meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, next week.

Roubideaux will take part in the 2010 National Combined Councils Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix Hotel. This year's theme is “Partnership for Reform: Innovation, Integration, Best Practices.”

Roubideaux will be at the conference all week, from Monday through Thursday. Among other topics, attendees will discuss current issues in Indian health care and discuss ways to enhance health care delivery and services.

Roubideaux is the first woman to lead the IHS.
