Alaska Native teen boy charged after stabbing girlfriend
An Alaska Native teenage boy from Barrow has been charged with attempted murder and assault for allegedly stabbing his teen girlfriend, the Associated Press reports.

The 16-year-old boy reportedly stabbed the 16-year-old girl several times before stabbing himself. The incident allegedly occurred in the boy's home.

The teens were treated at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage.
