Cherokee and Cheyenne football players drafted to NFL

Two American Indian players were drafted by the NFL this year.

Sam Bradford, a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, was drafted by the St. Louis Rams. He was the first American Indian to win the Heisman Trophy.

Levi Horn, a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana, was drafted by the Chicago Bears.
