Two police officers killed during stand-off in Alaska Native village
Two police officers were shot and killed in an ongoing stand-off in Hoonah, the largest Tlingit village in Alaska.

Sergeant Anthony Wallace, 32, and Officer Matthew Tokuoka, 39, were shot on Saturday night. Wallace's mother, who was visiting from Florida, witnessed the incident, as did Tokuoka's wife and two young children.

Authorities have barricaded a suspect, identified as John Marvin Jr., 45. Conditions of the situation are unclear.

"The community's broken-hearted," Police Chief John Millan told The Anchorage Daily News.
