Theodore Roosevelt National Park to transfer 225 bison for tribes
Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota is rounding up 225 bison to transfer to two tribes.

The park is culling its herd. The animals will go to the Blackfeet Nation in Montana and the Spirit Lake Dakotah Nation in North Dakota.

The park works with the InterTribal Bison Cooperative to identify tribes that need bison.
