University in Oklahoma gets $2M grant to create Indian center
Northeast Oklahoma A&M College in Oklahoma has received a $2 million federal grant to create an Indian center.

The university will work closely with tribes to develop the Native American Success and Cultural Center. The goal is to help Indian students succeed and to preserve tribal culture.

About 20 percent of the student body is Native American.
