Navajo Nation Supreme Court could be left with just one justice
The highest court of the Navajo Nation could be left with only one justice.

The three-member Navajo Nation Supreme Court currently has two members: Chief Justice Herb Yazzie and Justice Eleanor Shirley. Former justice Louise Grant retired last week.

But Shirley could be removed from because a committee of the Navajo Nation Council found her work to be unsatisfactory. She had been on probation while lawmakers reviewed her work.
