Judge Emmet Sullivan gave preliminary approval to the $760 million settlement in the Keepseagle case for Indian farmers and ranchers who experienced discrimination at the Department of Agriculture.

The settlement provides $680 million in payments to members of the class action. It also creates a $80 loan relief fund.

According to The Blog of Legal Times, the plaintiffs' attorneys agreed to a fee range between $30 million and $60 million. The exact amount will be approved by Sullivan.
