Peltier supporters push for tests due to concerns about health
Imprisoned American Indian Movement activist Leonard Peltier recently underwent blood tests and supporters say he should receive a biopsy to determine whether he has prostate cancer.

Peltier is being held in a federal prison in Pennsylvania. The Leonard Peltier Defense Offense Committee says he isn't receiving adequate medical attention.

Peltier is serving two life sentences for the murders of two FBI agents on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota in 1975.
