The Alaska Inter-Tribal Council elected a new chairman and other leaders at its 19th annual convention.
David Harrison was elected chairman. Sammy Jackson was elected vice chairman. Mickey Stickman, the group's former chairman, was chosen as treasurer.
The council also elected six council members.
