Census figures put Blackfeet Nation as largest tribe in Montana

The Blackfeet Nation is the largest tribe in Montana, according to the 2010 Census.

According to the data, 11,210 people identified themselves as Blackfeet. Next in line were the 7,949 who said they are Crow.

Another 6,232 people said they are Northern Cheyenne. Much smaller were the 2,528 Chippewa and the 1,809 Sioux.
