Obama announces White House Tribal Nations Conference

President Barack Obama will host the White House Tribal Nations Conference in Washington, D.C., on December 2.

As part of his campaign, Obama promised to hold yearly meetings with tribal leaders. This will be his this conference since taking office in January 2009.

All 565 federally recognized tribes are invited to send a representative to the conference. Additional details will be announced as the event approaches.
