California tribes report over $1.2M in political contributions

Three tribes in southern California reported more than $1.2 million in political contributions from July through September.

The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians spent $703,000, The Riverside Press-Enterprise reported. That was the largest spending among the three tribes.

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians spent almost $398,000, the paper said. The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians spent $125,000.
