Senate Indian Affairs Committee sets hearing on deficit, jobs

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee holds a hearing tomorrow on deficit reduction and job creation.

"The purpose of this hearing is to examine how federal agencies support tribes in accessing capital for development and business operations; support tribal infrastructure development, especially broadband; and reform regulatory and administrative procedures to improve the success and sustainability of tribal economic development," the committee said in a press release.

The hearing takes place at 2:15pm in 628 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The witness list follows:
