Indian man plans to sue city after noose discovered at work

A Shinnecock and Blackfeet man plans sue New York City after discovering a doll hanging from a noose at his parks department work site.

Anthony Crum, 50, found the noose on December 20, 2011, and reported it to his superiors. But he said they have tried to cover it up even after a fellow employee admitted to hanging the doll.

“This was not a joke,” Crum told New York Daily News. “It represents racism. It’s malicious.”

Crum plans to sue for emotional distress.
