Tribal leaders attend 17th annual legislative day in Arizona

Lawmakers welcomed tribal leaders to the state capitol for the 17th annual Indian Nations and Tribes Legislative Day on January 17.

The president of the Senate and the speaker House said they want to maintain strong relationships with tribes. Both chambers are led by Republicans.

Tribal leaders shared their priorities with lawmakers at the event.
