Jim Billie, chairman of Seminole Tribe, recovering from stroke

Jim Billie, the chairman of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, suffered a stroke earlier this month, The Tampa Bay Times reports.

Billie, 67, went on medical leave and has been recovering. He's only missed one tribal council meeting and is expected to be back on the job next week.

Andrew Bowers Jr. has been serving as chair in Billie's absence.
