Bill to authorize wolf hunt in Wisconsin gains final approval

A bill to authorize a wolf hunt in Wisconsin gained final approval on Wednesday.

The Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission opposed the bill. Most of the wolves that would be hunted are located in the northern part of the state, where tribes hold treaty rights.

Republicans pushed for the bill.
