Transgendered Native woman vies for Miss Universe Canada

Jenna Talackova, a member of the Lake Babine First Nation, will compete in the Miss Universe Canada pageant after all.

Talackova was told she didn't qualify because she wasn't born a woman. But Donald Trump, who runs the Miss Universe Organization, said she was welcome to participate.

Talackova, 23, lives in British Columbia. The competition takes place next month.
