Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation names an interim police chief

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut announced an interim police chief.

William Dittman has more than 30 years of law enforcement experience. He replaces Daniel Collins, who abruptly resigned in May.

The tribe has faced questions about the effectiveness of its police force.
