US Attorney reviews unsolved cases on Pine Ridge Reservation

The U.S. Attorney's Office in South Dakota has assigned three prosecutors to look over unsolved deaths on and near the Pine Ridge Reservation.

Leaders and members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe sought the review. They said the FBI hasn't provided satisfactory information about murders and deaths dating back to the 1960s.

Brendan Johnson, the U.S. Attorney, said his office will prosecute any cases it can.
