Cherokee Nation closes clinic to address suspected mold issue

The Cherokee Nation has temporarily closed one of its clinics to address a suspected mold problem.

The tribe is conducting an environmental assessment of the Redbird Smith Health Center. "The health of our employees and patients is our utmost concern, so we wasted no time in closing the affected portion of the facility," l Chief Bill John Baker said in a press release.

Patients are being redirected to other facilities.
