Ponca Tribe prepares to open convenience store on trust land
The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is about to open its second convenience store.
The White Eagle Express is located on trust land in Lincoln. It will offer food, soda and tobacco.
“We’re basically your friendly neighborhood convenience store, minus the fuel,” said Alexcia Boggs, the president and CEO of Osni Ponca, the tribe's economic development corporation, told The Lincoln Journal Star.
The tribe will offer tobacco from tribal retailers.
