Jackson Rancheria donates $10K toward Hurricane Sandy relief

The Jackson Rancheria of California is donating $10,000 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

"The tribe is deeply saddened by the destruction and loss of life that Hurricane Sandy has caused in the Northeast," Jackson Rancheria CEO Rich Hoffman said in a press release. "It is the tribe's deepest hope that their donation will help the Red Cross provide critical aid to those affected by this horrific storm."

Millions remain without power as the East Coast starts to recover from the storm, which has claimed 45 lives.
