Suquamish Tribe picks newcomers for vice chair and treasurer

Members of the Suquamish Tribe of Washington elected two newcomers to the council.

Wayne George, 58, was elected vice chairman. He defeated five candidates for the post.

Robin Little Wing Sigo, 37, was elected treasurer. She defeated incumbent Angel Hill and two other candidates

The election took place over the weekend.
