Two Arizona tribes move closer to establishing radio stations

Two tribes in Arizona are waiting on final approval from the Federal Communications Commission to build FM radio stations.

The Navajo Nation plans to build a station at Navajo Technical College in Crownpoint. The Hualapai Tribe already operates an Internet station and hopes to reach more people with an FM signal.

The FCC is expediting the process through the Tribal Radio Priority program.
