UK Report: Chumash Tribe working to preserve its language

UK newspaper visits the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians in California:
The Chumash are the indigenous people of the state of California, but are not recognised as an official tribe by the US Government.

As such, their language nearly died out and many traditions have been lost and they had no land to call their own.

Eleanor is working hard along with elders in her tribe to see this situation change.
