Audio from Senate Indian Affairs Committee's housing hearing

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee held its first hearing of the 113th Congress this afternoon.

The hearing focused on Indian housing. Tribal leaders called on Congress to reauthorize the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act, which expires in September, and to make more funding available for programs.

The hearing lasted about 90 minutes.
