Oglala Sioux Tribe working to assist residents after major storm

The Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota is starting to dig out from a major storm that has crippled parts of South Dakota.

The tribe's first priority is helping members with medical needs. But the tribe doesn't have enough manpower or plows to clear all of the snow, particularly in remote areas of the Pine Ridge Reservation, an administrative assistant said.

The weather is expected to warm up later this week, leading to worries about flooding on the reservation.
