Lee Tiger, Miccosukee, back into music after losing his brother

Lee Tiger, a member of the Miccosukee Tribe of Florida, is back in the music business with the release of "New Era."

Tiger stepped away from music after losing his brother, Stephen, in 2006. The pair formed the ground-breaking Tiger Tiger and performed on stages around the world with some of the biggest stars.

"The weight was lifted off. I was stopped up with sorrow; the faucet was closed, and then little by little, it turned on. And then all of a sudden, about three months ago, the floodgates opened up and I started writing," Tiger tells The Broward/Palm Beach New Times.

Tiger is holding a release party for "New Era" this Saturday.
