The Stillaguamish Tribe of Washington opened the doors to its new methadone clinic.
The tribe outgrew the building that originally housed the Island Crossing Counseling Services. The new 10,000 square-foot facility has enough space to treat 500 people.
“We’re still struggling, and one of our fights now is drug addiction,” Chairman Shawn Yanity said at the grand opening, The Arlington Times reported.
