Cocopah Tribe fires an officer who allegedly sold ammo online

The Cocopah Tribe fired a police officer who allegedly sold department-issued ammunition on the Internet.

The officer worked for the tribe for nearly 10 years, The Yuma Sun reported. He was not identified.

"We are truly disappointed by these circumstances, and this willful act is not indicative of the conduct of members of our department,” a spokesperson for the tribe told the paper.
