Prisoners escaped from BIA detention facility in South Dakota

Four prisoners escaped from a Bureau of Indian Affairs detention facility in South Dakota.

One inmate has already been caught. But authorities are still searching for Troy Young Fairbanks, 21, who was being held for allegedly violating conditions of his supervised release.

Claude Joseph Black Jr. and a 17-year-old male also escaped from the Lower Brule Correctional Facility. The fugitives could be on the Lower Brule Sioux Reservation or in the Rapid City area, authorities said.
