Washoe Tribe moving forward with project for motocross track

The Washoe Tribe is moving forward with plans to host a motocross track on the Nevada portion of its reservation.

The tribe signed a deal to use an 80-acre site for the track. The facility will be developed and managed by Steve Brown, who used to run a track in Douglas County.

“It’s been a pleasure working with the tribe,” Brown told The Record-Courier.

Construction is expected to take 60 days.
