Senate Indian Affairs Committee schedules budget hearing

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold a hearing next week to discuss the fiscal year 2015 budget request for Indian programs.

President Barack Obama is seeking $2.4 billion for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He also asked Congress to provide $4.6 billion for the Indian Health Service.

The hearing will take place at 2:30pm in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. A witness list hasn't been posted online.
