Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations considers finances

The Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations is holding a special meeting today to discuss budget issues.

FSIN has lost $2 million in federal funding over the past two years, The Saskatoon StarPhoenix reported. Some 66 employees are being laid off at the end of the month.

FSIN leaders will weigh various options that have been developed for the budget, the paper said.
