Indigenous Fine Art Market announced in Santa Fe for August

A new Indian art market is coming to Santa Fe, New Mexico, this August.

The Indigenous Fine Art Market will take place August 21-23. That's the same weekend as the popular Santa Fe Indian Market.

The main organizers of the new event, in fact, come from the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts, which has suffered a leadership shakeup in recent weeks. The group includes John Torres-Nez, a member of the Navajo Nation who was the chief operating officer at SWAIA until late last month.
