Inquest into deaths of Native students in Ontario faces a delay

An inquest into the deaths of seven Native students in Ontario will likely be delayed, CBC News reports.

The teens -- six males and one female -- died while attending school in Thunder Bay. The first death occurred in 2000 and the most recent occurred in 2011.

The inquest could have started this year but will likely be pushed until 2015 in order to address problems with the jury roll. Not enough Natives are on the roll, a judge determined in an unrelated case.
