The Blood Tribe of Alberta announced drug and firearms charges against six people as part of an ongoing investigation.
The tribe and the RCMP executed search warrants at two homes on the reserve.
Drugs, cash and firearms worth an estimated $30,000 were seized last Friday.
"[W]e’re not finished with the investigation,” Sgt. Murray Bartley of the Blood Tribe Police Service told The Lethbridge Herald. “There is an increase of people in the community that are coming forth with concerns in the community, and coming forth with information on the drug trade on the reserve.”
